Richmond City Cricket Club

Richmond City Cricket Club was founded in 1976 when Richmond City Cricket Club's two senior men's sides were accepted into the Turf Section of the Eastern Suburbs Cricket Association.

Since that time the club has grown substantially to now field 7 sides consisting of, 5 Senior men’s sides, a junior side, and a Veterans XI (over 40s). Their success since joining the ESCA (now known as the Eastern Cricket Association), has been exceptional, particularly as the Association recently celebrated its 100th anniversary.

They are proud to be one of the first cricket clubs in the area to develop a women's cricket program and launched their first Women's Team in the 2017/18 Season.

The women’s team play as a part of the Cricket Southern Bayside Women's Competition and have become a powerhouse, having played in grand finals in seasons 2019/20 and 2020/21 as well as appearing in finals in each year since inception.,

Due to their success and increased demand Richmond City Cricket Club are introducing a second Senior Women’s team in 2024.

Richmond City Cricket Club trains twice per week on a Tuesday and Thursday at their home ground at Kevin Bartlett Reserve. Team selection & dinner will occur every Thursday after training

Richmond City Cricket Club organise various social events throughout the season. With 7 senior teams and lots of non playing members, social events are not to be missed!

We are delighted to have arranged for you to play cricket with Richmond City Cricket Club and we are confident that you’ll have a very enjoyable time playing with the club.

Club Membership

Sport Lived will pay your club membership subscription at Richmond City Cricket Club. Sport Lived will also pay for club uniform required for matches and training, such as a playing shirt, shorts, club hat and a training shirt. Any extra club merchandise you will need to purchase yourself. You will be required to also pay for transport to training sessions and matches, as well as participation in any tours or training camps.
