The State Library of Victoria is a great place to visit and offers free, high-speed wireless access in all of the Library’s public areas.

Skype

One of the cheapest methods of making phone calls home from Australia is to use Skype. To make calls through Skype you and the person you wish to call in the UK will both need to create a Skype account via their website www.skype.com. You may also need to buy a headset.
