South Yarra Football Netball Club

South Yarra Football Netball Club (SYFNC) was established in 2015 and compete in the Southern Football Netball League based in the south and south eastern suburbs of Melbourne. It is part of the long established South Yarra Football Club which was formed around 1860, and was notable as one of the earliest Australian rules football clubs. They call themselves The Mighty Yarras!

Training is held weekly at Melbourne High School which is very convenient to your accommodation. It is on every Thursday from 6:30 pm to 8:00 pm.

Netball Leagues in Melbourne usually play 3 grading rounds at the start of each season.

Netball Victoria provides guidelines to clubs to mitigate the risks of playing games in hot or inclement weather.

SYFNC is focused on providing an enjoyable, healthy and vibrant netball club through their core values of: Respect, Integrity, Teamwork, Participation, Performance and Fun.

SYFNC hosts many varied social events throughout the year, including footy functions, trivia nights, netball events, and an end of season presentation night. There is a ‘SYFNC Netball Page’ on Facebook which is an important hub of information for their many social events.

We are delighted to have arranged for you to play netball with SYFNC and we are confident that you’ll have a very enjoyable time playing with the club.

Club Membership

Sport Lived will pay your club membership subscription at South Yarra Football Netball Club. Sport Lived will also pay for club uniform required for matches and training. Any extra club merchandise you are welcome to purchase yourself. You will be required to also pay for transport to training sessions and matches.
