
Ormond Cricket Club
Ormond Cricket Club has a long and proud history winning 9 Victorian Sub-District Cricket Association 1st XI premierships, the latest being in the 2014/15 season. In seasons 2020/21, 2021/22 and 2023/24 they finished runners-up. Over the years they have produced a number of outstanding cricketers through their junior development programmes and in the last few years have seen a record number of players represent the SECA association plus a number of boys and girls have gone on to play for the Victorian Under 12, 15, 17 and 19 teams as well as the Australian Under 17 and Under 19 teams.
As a community club they build a culture around families, respect, inclusiveness and accountability. They strive for continuous improvement both on and off the field and conduct social, family and community events.
Ormond Cricket club have 5 Senior Men's teams that play on turf in the Victorian Sub-District Cricket Association plus a team on synthetic wickets in the senior SECA competition. They have recently expanded to include a Women's cricket team in the Cricket Southern Bayside Women's Competition on turf on Sundays.
Ormond Cricket Club has excellent facilities. Home matches and most training sessions are held at the EE Gunn Reserve in Ormond. The club have 2 training sessions per week which are usually held on Tuesday and Thursday evenings. The club’s location is only a short distance from your accommodation and can be easily accessed by public transport.
The club organise various social events throughout the season. With 5 senior men’s teams and lots of non playing members, social events are not to be missed!

Club Membership
Sport Lived will pay your club membership subscription at Ormond Cricket Club. Sport Lived will also pay for match fees and club uniform required for matches and training, such as, a playing shirt, socks and a training shirt. However you will have to pay for any club merchandise you might wish to purchase during your programme. You will be required to also pay for transport to training sessions and matches, as well as participation in any tours or training camps.
