Melbourne Social: Laser Tag and Bowling

Regular Sport Lived blogger Adam is on a Football programme in Melbourne. Here he tells us all about the latest Melbourne group social...

Our last social event for the month was a epic mix of laser tag, bowling and pool at the number one entertainment complex on the south bank of the Yarra River.

A first time visit for most of us, the event started with an early meet and greet inside the bowling centre, where we were put into teams and given a run down of the official rules of laser tag. Having the entire place to ourselves made for a good atmosphere and an intense game in which it was 4 teams all going up against each other.

When the game was finished and the winning team, and overall best point scorer had received their prizes, it was then on to bowling. We were put into different lanes, and treated to drinks and entrès whilst all enjoying a game together. After the bowling the top scorers received their prizes, and there was also a prize for the overall worst score of the day! We then had an hour on the pool tables all for Sport Lived participants, while enjoying drinks and then overflowed into the arcade where everyone took advantage of the mixture of games to play. And to finish it off, the ones who fancied themselves quite lucky had a chance to prove it on the casino floor.

It was another fantastic day for everyone to get together and have a rest from all the intense training during the week.
