Bayside Netball Club

The Bayside Netball Club (BNC) is a representative netball club based in the Bayside region of Melbourne. It has a proud and long history dating back more than 25 years.

The BNC selects players from the surrounding region who wish to achieve a higher level of netball and who are committed to the training and time required.

The BNC has a philosophy of developing players first and foremost. Achieving success on court is a natural progression from that point. Player welfare and offering a family club atmosphere to allow young women to develop is also a key goal.

Their club has experience at National, State and VNL level and at the very junior ranks at appropriate school and domestic competition.

Bayside has continued to grow and today has representation in Under 13’s, Under 15’s, Under 17’s and Open divisions.

The BNC trains as a club at the netball courts in Thomas Street, Hampton on a Sunday afternoons and evenings.

Their teams compete in both the Autumn (February to July) and Spring (July to early December) competitions.

Their Open division plays at the State Netball and Hockey Centre (SNHC) at Parkville on a Tuesday evening.

BNC hosts many varied social events throughout the year. There is a Bayside Netball Club page on Facebook and Instagram which is an important hub of information for their many social events.

We are delighted to have arranged for you to play netball with Bayside Netball Club and we are confident that you’ll have a very enjoyable time playing with the club.

Club Membership

Sport Lived will pay your club membership subscription at Bayside Netball Club. Sport Lived will also pay for club uniform required for matches and training. Any extra club merchandise you are welcome to purchase yourself. You will be required to also pay for transport to training sessions and matches.
