Cookie policy (Updated 27 August 2026)

This policy explains how the Sport Lived websites use cookies and similar technologies. It covers both our main website at sportlived.co.uk and our customer account portal at account.sportlived.co.uk, which customers use once they have booked a programme. It should be read alongside our Privacy Policy, which explains how we handle personal information more generally.

What cookies are

Cookies are small text files that a website stores on your computer or mobile device when you visit. They are widely used to make websites work, to keep them secure, and to provide information to site owners. Cookies set by the website you are visiting are called “first-party” cookies, and cookies set by other services embedded in the site are called “third-party” cookies.

Our approach: essential cookies only

We have deliberately kept our use of cookies to a minimum. Our websites only set cookies that are strictly necessary for them to work and remain secure, including keeping customers securely logged in to their online account. We do not use advertising cookies, social media tracking pixels, or analytics cookies that identify you. Because we only use strictly necessary cookies, UK law (the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations) does not require us to ask for your consent before setting them, which is why you will not see a cookie consent banner on our sites.

Analytics without cookies

We use Fathom Analytics to understand how our website is used, for example which pages are most popular. We chose Fathom because it is a privacy-first service: it does not use cookies, does not collect or store personal information, and does not track you across other websites. The statistics we see are anonymous and aggregated, and no profile of you is ever created.

Advertising

We advertise through Google Ads. If you reach our website by clicking one of our adverts, Google may set cookies on its own services in line with Google's own policies, but our website does not set any Google advertising or conversion-tracking cookies, and we do not run Facebook, Instagram or other social media tracking on our site.

How to control cookies

You can control and delete cookies through your browser settings, including blocking all cookies or deleting cookies already stored on your device. Guidance for each major browser is available in its help pages, and general guidance is available from the ICO at ico.org.uk. Please note that because the cookies we use are essential, blocking them may stop parts of our website, such as our enquiry and booking forms, from working properly.

Changes to this policy

If we add new cookies or services to our website, we will update this policy and, where the law requires it, ask for your consent before any non-essential cookies are set. If you have any questions about this policy, please contact us at info@sportlived.co.uk
