Congratulations to Richard Moore who helped Cheshire beat Cambridgeshire in the final of the Minor Counties Cricket Championship.  Richard starred with the bat scoring an unbeaten 175 in Cheshire’s first innings to help them to win their first Minor Counties Championship in six years.

In 2007-08 Richard undertook on a sporting gap year where he played cricket in Melbourne with Sport Lived. He enjoyed a highly successful six months in Melbourne helping his Premier Club’s third grade team to win their league.  On his return to the UK, Richard studied at Leeds Metropolitan University, where he captained the Leeds-Bradford MCC UCCE team.
