A-level results day. Everyone has a different experience. And whether it’s elation, excitement, or disappointment you’re feeling today, it marks the start of a whole new chapter in your life.

Some of you will be heading off to university. Freshers, halls, new friends, lectures, nights out, essay crises, and independence await.

Some of you though, will be heading off on gap years, or contemplating your new found or unexpected freedom. Maybe you don’t have a plan yet, or your plans have changed. That’s ok. No one needs to know exactly what’s going to happen next. And, we promise, it’ll probably work out ok in the end.

There are literally hundreds of ways to spend a gap year. A quick Google will throw up a whole array of options. Of course, we’d suggest you go on one of our fantastic sports programmes in the Southern Hemisphere! But whatever you’re interested in, whether it’s sport, volunteering, working, or travelling there’ll be something out there for you.

If you’re worried about money or how to pay for a trip, you could earn while you’re travelling. Sport Lived offer coaching programmes, which guarantee you a paid coaching placement while you’re away. Or if you’d prefer to focus on your game then one of our playing or Academy programmes might do the trick.

If you’re thinking about a gap year, enjoy sport at any level, and would like to travel and see the world then Sport Lived could be the best thing you’ve ever done. Give us a call to find out more. And if you book during August we’ll give you a massive £300 off your programme too. What’s not to like?!

For more information on any of our programmes, give us a call on 0115 822 9999 and we'd love to have a chat.
